Mākena will host Ulu Mai he Wai, an event dedicated to encouraging the future growth and restoration of our watersheds, native ecosystems, and freshwater sources.
The event will honor the critical work of local organizations Mālama Kahālāwai and Uhiwai o Haleakalā, who continue to play a vital role in supporting Maui’s watersheds.
Our shared intention will be to gather on ʻāina with those we trust, rely on, and uplift—to plant the seeds that call forth clouds to crown our mauna: he lei ʻōpua a ke aloha.
