Aloha Mākena
Endowed Scholarship
A perpetual commitment
Established in 2018, the purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support to students pursuing a degree or certificate in any area at any University of Hawaiʻi campus. Preference shall be given to students with genealogical ties to the area of Makena, Maui, and also to Mākena Golf & Beach Club employees and/or their immediate family members.

Application Process
Students only need to complete one UH Systemwide Scholarship Application—there’s no need to apply for individual scholarships. This single application is used to determine which scholarships students may be eligible for. Applicants are encouraged to share as much information as possible, as doing so increases the chances of being matched with multiple scholarships.
Deadline to Apply is March 2, 2026
